- What is a CSA and do I need to belong to one to use the recipes?Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a co-op where you purchase a full season of fresh produce from a local farm, which you pick up every week throughout the season.
You don't need to belong to a CSA and you don't need to shop at a Farmer's Market to use these recipes! The recipes include seasonal produce that are easy to find at your local grocery store or online market. - How does the Menu Club work?The Menu Club is a monthly membership. When you sign up, you'll receive access to the membership portal where you will complete a short starting survey.
At the beginning of every month, you'll receive a collection of recipes that include in-season ingredients, plus shopping lists and sample meal plans broken into weekly increments.
You can download your own copy of the collection and use it as-is. Or customize it for your own tastes, food sensitivities, and number of servings using the included digital planning template.
Your membership will automatically renew every month until you cancel. - What do I get in the Menu Club?Every month you'll receive a collection of recipes (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and a selection of snacks and desserts), plus weekly shopping lists and suggested meal plans. You'll know what to make when, and what to buy, so you're prepared. The plan will be available to download, and you will receive an email when it's ready, about one week prior to the beginning of the month. You can print it or view it on any digital device.
You can customize the number of servings or the meal plan/days of the week. Rearrange them or swap them out using the digital planner template.
Every 3-month season you will receive a special holiday-themed menu, recipes and shopping list.
Food is not included. - Is the Menu Club available outside the US?Yes! The Menu Club is available to you no matter where you live, as it is delivered digitally. At the current time, the recipes feature produce seasonal to the Northern Hemisphere and can be purchased at grocery stores, CSA's or Farmer's Markets.
- How many servings do the recipes make?Generally, the recipes make 2 servings. However, sometimes you'll make more in order to save leftovers to use for another meal.
You can easily halve, double or triple the recipes if you want to make more or less. - Can I get more support?When you join the Farm Fresh Menu Club, you'll be invited to our free, private, client/student only Facebook community where you can ask questions, connect with others, and get support, inspiration and encouragement.
- What if I or someone in my family has a food allergy, sensitivity or special diet?Most of the recipes are free of gluten, dairy and peanuts, since many people who struggle with energy, autoimmunity and other chronic health conditions can be sensitive to these.
Some recipes contain eggs, shellfish, nuts, or other ingredients that may cause sensitivities, and are easily adjustable using the substitution suggestions provided in the recipes so that you may remove the ingredient you don't want and add in another comparable one.
If you would like CUSTOM RECIPES AND MEAL PLANS built around YOUR specific requirements, that level of customization is available and INCLUDED in my 1:1 COACHING PROGRAMS. We build recipe collections customized to your specific needs. For example, if you're looking for thyroid support, gut healing, low/no sugar, FODMAP or a specific diet such as paleo, vegan, etc. we can work with you to provide custom recipes, suggested meal plans and shopping lists created for you. Please email support@amyjoyhealth.com for more information. - What type of diet is this?This is NOT a diet; it's a collection of recipes and suggested meal plans that use in-season produce and other whole foods.
We don’t cater to one diet over another. Instead, we provide you with a range of fresh meal ideas that place an emphasis on seasonal, whole foods. Our team of recipe developers and testers are adding new recipes on a regular basis so you will have new inspiration season to season.
The recipe collections feature seasonal (Northern Hemisphere) produce, whole grains, nuts and seeds, plus protein sources such as lean meats, chicken and fish/seafood. We also include at least one plant-based recipe per week using plant proteins such as legumes or soy/tofu, which are included as an optional swap.
IF YOU NEED SOMETHING DIFFERENT, email us as at support@amyjoyhealth.com with your preferences and we'll see if that's something we will be able to accommodate. We want to make the MENU CLUB an amazing experience that you will use and value for a long time. - Will I receive a cookbook?At this time, the Menu Club is available in digital format only. No physical copy will be mailed to you. Materials are delivered in PDF format and the customizable meal plan templates in Google Docs. We recommend saving the documents and printing them, and keeping them in a 3-ring binder. You can also print only the pages you want, or view on any digital device.
You can change the number of servings or have meals on different days. - Do I have to be an experienced cook?No - the recipes are simple and most can be prepared in 30 minutes or less with fewer than 10 ingredients, so they're perfect for even the most novice or experienced cook. Some recipes include different cooking options such as a slow cooker or Instant Pot. We use easy-to-find, simple ingredients and you'll also receive a shopping list so you know exactly what else you need for the week.
- Are the recipes kid-friendly?While the definition of "kid friendly" varies from kiddo to kiddo, the recipes are designed to be quick and easy to make, using simple ingredients. You can easily customize them to suit your family's tastes using your own favorites or the suggested substitutions.
- What if I want to cancel?You can cancel anytime and it will take effect at the end of the month in which you cancel. Select "Cancel" in the member portal or email support@amyjoyhealth.com.
Since this is a digital product, there are no refunds offered on months already purchased.
